It’s amazing to be able to experience the first year of a child’s life as a photographer. Maternity photos offer this glimpse into the life of young couple before the mayhem begins. Newborn photos, of an often times sleeping infant, resting on just one hand of dad’s show the true fragility of a new life. My personal favorite is three months, where a vibrant little personality can be seen but mobility hasn’t come into play. Six and nine months are always a bonus, just to see how well mom and dad are doing and to continue the familiarity. It’s hard to believe this little lady with be turning one in a few short weeks. I’m looking forward to capturing the cake smash!
